Hereford Young Open set up!

I am so behind with this blog! So I apologise! Whilst setting up Hereford Young Open I managed to take some Photographs of the work that was already up... Here is a sneek preview! 

3 weeks until I can go back to work = perfect design / sketchbook time!

So I have been designing away in my sketchbook! Whilst having a browse on my personal blog this afternoon.... I came across this rare picture of the Titanic and thought I would share it with you.
I LOVE THE SHAPE of the bow! Its so sexy!!  The design process keeps flowing and flowing!

New leg Vice!

I just bought this lovely Leg vice for £15! BARGIN! (not quite sure why though as that was the last £15  to my name!) OH but I am happy! All I need now is a shed with electricity and I will be able to forge! Why is this proving difficult?!?! 

Forge-in at Russborough, Ireland.

Whilst being bed bound I have seriously missed all the action!
IABA (Irish Artist Blacksmiths Association) held a forge in at Russborough House, with Titanic being the theme! I am gutted I missed this as its my main research area for my working practice. (Apparently they are having more so its not all doom and gloom)

H.Art - Hereford Young Open Exhibition

So today.... its out Private View at The Courtyard in Hereford. Unfortunately I am unable to attend because I had an operation on Tuesday which has left me fairly useless for a few weeks :( But I hope everyone has a good time! Gutted I can't be there and meet people! I guess tonight I will snuggle up and do a lot of sulking! :(
On the plus side... I was chuffed to find out that there was a picture of my work on the private view invite! Happy Fi! :)
